The extension stores the following data locally on your device only:
This data never leaves your device, is stored using Chrome's local storage API, cannot identify you personally, and can be cleared at any time through Chrome's extension settings.
The locally stored emoji preferences are used solely to display your recently used emojis and favorites for faster access. This data is never transmitted to any server or third party.
Giphy API: When you search for GIFs, QuickReact makes API requests to Giphy through our secure backend proxy. Only your search query is sent (e.g., "happy cat"). No personal identifiers are transmitted. No tracking cookies or tokens are used. Results are displayed directly and not stored.

Since QuickReact stores data only locally on your device, your data is protected by your device's security. No data transmission means no interception risk. No server-side storage means no data breach risk.
storage: Required to save your emoji preferences locally on your device
activeTab: Required to insert emojis and GIFs into text fields when you click them
Host permissions: Required to fetch GIF search results from Giphy API

QuickReact does not collect any information from anyone, including children under 13. The extension is safe for all ages.
You have complete control over your data. Delete your data by clearing your favorites and recent emojis through Chrome's extension settings or by uninstalling the extension. No account is required. Your data is already on your device.
